In the play Romeo and Juliet the actions of choice and fate become relevant in every page you read. At the beginning of the play when the families are introduced as well known rivals the plot thickens. When Romeo and Juliet are introduced and they fall deeply in love the action of fate takes place. Choice is defined as something that is generally preferred, when Juliet chooses not to be occupied with Paris, she chose to be with Romeo. When the Nurse and Friar Lawrence decide to get involved with the arrangement of the marriage it is not fact, they choose to be involved. Fate is defined as something that unavoidably befalls a person. When Romeo and Juliet meet and the inevitably attraction between the two and the death of their undying love is a sign of fate.
In Romeo and Juliet there are many examples of choice and fate. When they meet it is fate. when they fall in love it is choice. When they get married it is choice. And the consequence of them getting married is death, which is fate. Fate leads to choices and sometimes choices lead to fate.
In Romeo and Juliet, fate becomes a huge factor. But in a way, Romeo and Juliet kind of chose their own fate. If Romeo had never killed Tybalt, then he would have never been banished. Then Juliet wouldnt have to fake her own death and Romeo would have never thought it was real. In the end, Romeo kills himself beacuse he thinks Juliet is really dead. So when juliet wakes up to find Romeo dead, she kills herseld too. They both chose the way it ended. they both chose their own fate.
In the famous play of Romeo and Juliet, there is an interaction of choice and fate. They both have to face several harsh and extremely difficult choices that could indeed change everything. For example, both Romeo and Juliet had the choice of showing their love and compassion, it was only their fate that they had been born into the two different families that had been in what had seemed like a never ending fight of hatred. Their only choice was to keep it a secret forever; hoping that one-day their family feud would some day come to an end.
The Nurse and Friar Lawrence choose to interfere with the fate of Romeo and Juliet. It's fate that when they saw eachother for the first time they fell in love. It's choice for the Nurse and Friar Lawrence to become involved in the marrige even though Friar Lawrence marries them. When you think fate you think they were made for eachother, this is what I see when I see Romeo and Juliet. They are ment for eachother, fate brought them together.
In Romeo and Juliet, there are many circumstances in which choice and fate occur. In the beginning, Romeo is in love with Rosaline, who does not love him back. He goes to the mask to compare other women to her and see that there are others he can go for. At the mask, he finds Juliet and falls in love at first sight. He tries talking to her and they meet and kiss. He at first wasn't going to go to the mask but his friends persuaded him to, so he chose to go, and thats how he and Juliet met. Also, when they find out that their families are rivals. They new that thier parents would never approve of them together, so they rushed things and secretly got married. Without this knowing of their rival families, they would have probably taken things slow. It was fate that brought them together and caused them to get married. The whole plays actions and plot is happening because of choice and fate. It sets the story into play.
Both choice and fate are throughout the play Romeo and Juliet. An example of fate would be when Romeo meet Juliet for the first time. Romeo wasn't even going to go to the party. But his friends made him go, so he, by chance, met Juliet there. Another example of fate was the day Mercutio and Tybalt got killed. It was by chance that Mercutio and Tybalt were at the same place at the same time. And as Romeo says, "O, I am fortune's fool!", it was fate that had Romeo stab and kill Tybalt that day. An example of choice in this book is when Romeo and juliet got married. They were both madly in love with each other, so they decided to get married. This was a very brash decicion in my opinion. I think choice and fate are connected in a way. Because you could choose to go somewhere or do something, and something amazing just might happen by your choice.

Choice and fate play many roles in Romeo and Juliet. At the beginning it was Romeos choice to go to the party, and it ended up being fate that he met Juliet and fell in love. Later on in the story Mercutio and Tybalt get in a fight and it was fate that all of a sudden Romeo showed up after just being married to Juliet. Unfortantly it was Romeos choice to kill Tybalt in the end though becuase if he had tryied to keep his cool he would never have been banished. In the end I believe it was just fate that ended their lives.
For an example of choice, Romeo chooses to stop the fight between Mercutio and Tybalt by going between them, because he loves Juliet more than anything and wanted to prove that he didn't hate Tybalt. But it was fate when Mercutio died as he explained that both of the families were to blame for his death. He knew that sooner or later it would have happened because he is Romeo's friend, but he is also related to the Prince.
In Romeo and Juliet, there are many choices that are made. Romeo and Juliet chose to persue eachother and they made many choices, good and bad. I don't believe in fate much, so I think that for the story there were choices made. For Shakesphere, he of coarse knew what was going to happen and made it seem like fate, but really it comes down to the choices and how the characters handle them.
Choice and fate are huge ideas in Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet seem to avoid the fate their families believe is correct. They chose their own fate by making their own decisions. Choice is what the allow to become their life. They chose to stay together and avoid the family feud. They also avoid the fate their families have chosen for them; they believe that their decisions are correct.
In this novel fate verses choice is relvant on every page. Romeo and Juliet seen to have met because of fait and it seems thats all the think there realtionship is off. Once they get into there realtionship i think it turns into a lot of choice. Juliet chooses to go against her family wishes. I also think they both choose to fall in love. In my opinion this novel shows that fate can turn into choice:)
In Romeo and Juliet there love is fate because Romeo decides to go to the party of the Capulet’s and meets Juliet, but Juliet’s choice is to be with Romeo and not with Paris. Also Friar Lawrence and the Nurses choice were to help Romeo and Juliet to get married but its fate when Tybalt dies and its choice by the Prince to banish Romeo from Verona. In the book choice and fate just come and go.

Oops! Sorry! I accidentally posted my comment twice. (I still don't know how to work this thing!)
