In the society of Anthem, nobody is an individual and cannot even express their own opinion. In the video The Machine is Using Us, it says that we are using the computer but it isn't using us. I think the idea was about how we need to be more individual.

The society in the "Anthem" controls the people and limits what they can say, do, and learn. The Council members don't allow the people to be independent, and have their own beliefs. Equality states, “We have solved secrets of which the Scholars have no knowledge. We are defying the will of our Councils." These statements show that the people in his society are not allowed to break the rules, or learn new things that the Scholars don’t know about. He knows he is transgressing; however, he still wants to learn and discover new things. The message of the video "The Machine Is Using Us" demonstrates how people should be individual and independent, and that we are free to express and think what we want.

in the futuristic society of Anthem, everyone are like machines, treated without consideration of feeling or thought. U are suppose to be like everyone else. The Machines are using us are saying that the machines function only because we use them, we are still individuals that surpasses machinary. But machinary helps us with certain stuffs.

The society of Anthem, everyone is very dependent and in the youtube video it is showing the machine using us, but the theme of this is that we need to be less depenent on others because things wont just come to you.

The society of Anthem the Council controls what they learn do say and feel. Basically what our Amendment 1 in the Bill of rights states. They are not allowed to progress because according to thescholars everything is known to all of man, and if all of man does not know about it it doesn't exist. This is one example of how held back society is in making their own decisions, being independent and free.

in Anthem's society there is a so many rules that resrict the people and there Individuality. Such as the fact that a thirst for knowledge is frowned upon and it is a “sin” to express certain ideas. In the youtube video the theme is that we can’t let this way of thinking become real by or own free will and we have to be independent and not be afraid to express ourselves.

The soiciety in Anthem is very isolated. they are no allowed to choose their jobs, how or what they learn, and they are not allowed to see the opposite gender. The council is very controlive and monitors what they do. Equality is scared for what he writes, this shows that they are not even allowed to write what they want to say. This relataes to the video because it is saying that the machine controls us. Also that even though we created the internet we are controlled by it. We never really stop and think that we do control the internet. We think of it as it;s own self rather what we created.

in the Anthem, the society runs the people, not the other way around. They give them numbers as their "names" showing that they have no individualism. it takes away something from them, its not just taking away their name, but its taking away their identity. they have no say in them selves. In the youtube video, its basically saying the same thing. that we let the "machines" in our life, run our life. cell phones, computers, and tvs. they are all used all over america and it takes some guts to walk away from the machine. we are controlled by them.

The society of the Anthem controls the people. They have to all be the same and have the same beleifs. No one gets a chance to be independent. In the "Machine is Using us", it says that instead of us using the computer, the computer is using us. It shows how we should be individual and independent.

In Anthem and in the clip the people are forced to conform to the will of the people in charge. The will of the individual is being demolished and is endanger of becoming extinct.

Idividuality is based on our opinons, interests, traits, and unique mindsets. The thought of idividuality differs from machine like ways. Machines do not contain personality or other unique traits, therefore The video "The machine is using us" truly depicts the "black and white" contrasts set in Anthem.

In the futuristic society anthem everyone acts and is treated like machines. They don't get to choose anything and just do what they are told. This is like the video clip because everything is done by "machines" and the whole world is relying on a machines to make everything perfect.
