What matters to me is, my family and my friends. They have the most impact on my life than anybody else does. They support me, and will love me no matter what. they have a huge role in who I am, and who I am becoming.
Family and lives experiences are what matter to me the most. Family can hurt or help you in life. The experiences you have can make you who you will be for the rest of your life. Like Mango Street, some of the life experiences helped her or hurt her, same with family.
My family and friends have to most dramatic effect on my life. They are always there for me no matter what. They help me along the way to lead me to a good life, yet to come.
Many things in this world matter to me but the one thing that really stands out is my family. My family provides a safe shelter for me and my siblings. They always try their hardest to make my life a little easier. If it wasnt for my family, I probably wont be as successful as I right now.

what matters to me the most is probably dance. ive been dancing since i was two and i love it. dance is something i do, not just because its a workout, but it clears my mind and i can do whatever i want. i know that no matter what happens... no matter who my friend are, where i live, what i do... i can dance. once you learn how you can do it all the time. sometimes ill even dance around the halls. dance is the one thing i think i love the most, it can never be taken away from me.
My education is important to me. It can change your life. If you don't have a good education, your life is going to be bad. You will never be able to get a good job. Education is the key to having a good life.
What matters to me is having fun. There is no point to life if you don't have any fun. Doing school work all day isn't fun and neither is coming home and having to do more school work. Why would you want to work your whole life the point of work is to have money or to get to a place where you can have fun. So having fun in life is most important.
To me, my education matters. Without it I cannot even imagine a future for myself. This matters to me because with an education I can succeed in anything I truly want to. Being taught certain classes in school doesn't help one to succeed. It is the effort put into making the best out of those classes that help those who with to succeed in life. Some think that talent is their key into success but what if a person has talent and doesn't know how to use it. Being educated helps those understand talents, gifts, etc. That is why education matters to me.

That will never be me though, i hold dear to me every single friend and i would never wish them any harm or anything bad to happen to them,to me my friends are everything and my family is second, now i know thats not a good out look on life but i hold them so close because of my past that i can't help but keep them near me. Thats what truly matters the most to me.

what matters to me is war. the reason is its a way to keep peace. with out the violence the world would probably be over populated. i say that because think of how many people die in a war. You might think oh it wont effect me tens of thousands of extra people maybe every 10 miles isn't that much the world is big enough but then with that many extra people there would be even less jobs. meaning people fighting over those jobs and ruining the peace people think could be there that is why war matters to me.
A lot of things matter to me...like family, friends, sports, my doggy, education, life, love, freedom etc. I`m sure that most things that matter to you matter to me and things that matter to you matter to me. watching that video made me realize what it is that we do all day long, what we spend hours and hours on doing yet the next day there is more to do all 24 hours that there are in a day...
What is important to me is that people who have nothing to do with what is wrong, shouldn't suffer.When taken responsibility, others aren't punished for what they didn't do. In the video, a girl held up a sign saying, "these aren't problems I created." When I saw that, I thought; but these are the problems she lives in. Past faults causing others to suffer is not a fair thing, but sometimes there is no way to control that.
What matters to me is that I have a good life and the problems that I did not create will not be my problems. I would like to be able to live my life to the fullest and have an amazing time as a teenager. I also greatly value the relationships I have with my family and friends. Without people that I can trust and talk to, my life would be empty. After watching that video, it made me think about how often I use the computer or watch television, when i could be making my relationships stronger.

Although some days can be a struggle and it seems like nothing is going right, i just think about how lucky i am to still be alive and be apart of the world as we know. I know that in some of the world they have expectations to live up to and they don't get to participate in what they truly care about most. Without opportunities i would not be who i am, get to be who i really am, or even getting to participate in some things. I know that in Africa they don't get the opportunities we do, so they don't really get to show who they really are. I someday hope to be able to travel and learn what Africa is like, but if i didn't have the freedom to do this, i wouldn't get to. Freedom is truly a blessing. (:

They give me a smile when i am down, they give me a shoulder to cry on when i need one, and they give me a laugh every once in a while. They will never leave me like friends do, they are stuck with me forever. I hold my family very close to my heart and they truly are the people that matter most to me.

No its not, they cant tell me the congressmen are "the people" there a bunch of rich old people, if you put a farmer and a small business owner in to that position thats the people,it gives the people who make up the country a chance. Those who are born in Africa with aids never have a chance to excel. They don't have food,medicine or public schools. All People should start on an equal playing field, and earn the positions through their own work and sweat. I'm not promoting communism, I just think that the fortunate should help the less fortunate.
