I have learned so much that had improved my writing skills. I have learned how to properly write a paragraph. I have also learned how to really enhance my writing and to take out what shouldn't be there. This semester helped me to have better writing skills and to not add stuff that shouldn't be there.

I have learned a lot this semester. With my uniform paragraph, I had more practice with how to revise dead verbs and remove them. Also, I learned how to write a good thesis statement with the right format. A big thing I learned was sentence types and how to type/identify them in a paragraph. Overall, I learned a lot this year.

For my uniform paragraph I have tried to edit my sentence structure and the flow it has. I am making sure I dont have any of those bad words that you cant have. Im trying to have my paragraph work well and all of it to come together.

My uniform paragraph has improved in all the 6 + 1 traits, but most of all in the thesis statement and the sentence types. Before, my paragraph was flooded with unnecessary, simple sentences that needed more detail and body in them. Now, the number of them has reduced to only a few simple sentences. For the thesis statement, it's now much more detailed and easily states where I stand. Before, it was way too general and of course, it was a simple sentence. The third most changed thing about my uniform paragraph were the revisions. I used to have a load of repeated words. I still have some, but they aren't repeated nearly as much.

Over the semester I can't say I have seen a huge improvement within my writing, but there is definitely a slight improvement. I have learned how to describe things more thoroughly and explain more throughout my writings. In my Uniform paragraph I have improved it from the first time I wrote it, but it is still not at the best it can be. I still have a little ways to go before my Uniform paragraph is complete.

This semester I have learned that by not using the linking verbs, then the writing becomes more captivating. In the Uniform paragraph I fixed the sentences structure and the types of sentences that I had to use. Also I put in more details and examples to make the prompt clearer. The different types of sentences still catches me off guard sometimes because it confuses me, but otherwise the Uniform paragraph has made me more conscious of my writing and structure.

this year i have learn how to write better just in general.such as better organizing my writing and planning with more depth and thought. Also i have come to understand other ways of writing paragraphs and planning them mainly because i have been made to think about different concepts and points of view.I have edited my uniform paragraph by going back in and making it look better and adding more informations such as points supporting my point of view and editing my reasons of why i think the way i do.

Throughout the last few weeks, I have really tried to improve my Uniform Paragraph. In that I actually learned what a prepositional phrase is and how it can help your paper be even better. Then there were the sentence types. Although I already had them, when labeling, I didn't label them correctly. That just helped me more, because now I see with proper adjustments any sentence can be transformed. The last large change I worked on was my thesis statement. Using the different 'equations' helps to build a better sentence, than most ones made from scratch.

I have learned what linking and helping verbs are and I have been able to remove them from my Uniform paragraph. I learned the difference between simple sentences, compound, complex, compound-complex sentences and I am now able to label them in my writing. My thesis has improved and I am able to correctly show what part of the sentence a certain word or phrase is. I can now create a well written paragraph about any subject that is given to me.

i think that i learned how to take out linking verbs from my writing from the uniform paragraph. I also learned how to take my writing a step above what I've been able to do in the past. This semesters class has helped me out to be a better writer then i was last year.

I have learned about a whole new way to do grammer, the sentence types simple, complex, compound and complex compound. Thesis statements show your thinking on the topic. I've learned so much on how to organize my ideas and show them in my paragraph or essays. With my uniform paragraph i"ve taken away all of the linking verbs and shown all of my diferent types of sentences by highlighting them. That is most of what i have learned so far this year on my writing. CJ B

I feel that I have learned how to make a thesis statement more grabbing toward a reader. The 6+1 traits really taught me how to to take out the "word garbage" in my paragraph.

This semester I have learned many useful things about writing a good paragraph. Before I would never use proper grammar or punctuation but now I know a lot of different things to make my papers better. I learned all the different types of sentences and how important it can be to out those into your papers. It can really improve the content of a paper. It is also important to re-read and revise your papers. You could have something that doesn't make sense or you could be dragging a topic out and want to change it. It's another opportunity to make it better! I have learned so many great things about writing this year and I hope I learn much more.

This year in English, i have learned the proper usage of linking verbs. Most importantly not to use them. I learned the hard way by typing my whole paragraph about school uniforms with linking verbs, and i have realized that it is very difficult to remove.

I've learned that writing a journal daily helps you writing. I also learned by taking out all the linking verbs, it makes your writing sound better, and if you know you can't use linking verbs when you start writing, then it improves your word choice and variation. I took out the linking verbs in my paragraph and also did all the other things we were supposed to.

At the start of this year my writing was unorganized, and lacked several key elements. Using the 6+1 Traits I was able to get more focused and be better organized. The blog we did on the creativity also revealed to me that my creativity is something I will always have and it is not always noticed and developed. Being creative in my writing can increase my voice. Getting the reader to be able to see what I see is a difficult task to achieve but doing so is well worth it. They can be able to understand what your purpose was for a certain piece of writing. The 6+1 trait packet helped me communicate to my reader more effectively.

First of all I have learned a lot this year in English. First of all I have learned how to use sentence structures to improve my writing. I have used this in my class writing and improve on my uniform paragraph. I think that my uniform paragraph has improved a lot sense the original one. I have learned what linking verbs are and how to abolish them from my writing. Also I have learned that my first draft for my writing is not always the best and that revisions can improve the writing a lot.
