I thought that it was cool how much America has progressed over the years but I was also kind of sad that other things are suffering because of it. It also made me realize how dependent we've become on technology. Before the video I just used what was easiest and didn't even stop to think about it, now every time I use something that was showed on the video I remember what was said about it. Businesses that were once thriving are now starting to struggle a little more. I don't think the video will affect me academics but I'm glad that I saw the video because now I'm just that much more aware of what's going on around me.

In the did you know 2.0, and the did you know 4.0, I got launched into a lot of though about life in general. It made me think about where i'm going, and where i am. The realization has bean that i need to work to my fullest and not to be pushed off track. It also impacted my view of the world in academics because we shouldn't need to be worrying about who has the best grades. In a perfect world, we should be worrying about how to be beneficial to each other in the best ways. Another video should be made.

the videos made me think because America has grown so much over the last few years and it was really cool to read it and see the facts. Also, the videos were eye opening because other people around the world could have been effected by the changes America has gone through. Economic changes, social changes and political changes have accord all over the world and people need to notice the change!

It made me realize how much us Americans depend on computers and electronics. I saw how many random people post things, how many people blog and text, or post videos on YouTube. It made me think how advertising has evolved, newspaper and television ads are declining, while internet ads are rapidly increasing. It makes me wonder what will happen to our country if that stuff was disabled. No google, no wikipedia, no ask.com.

Although I have watched both the did you knows before I have forgotten some of the things that it had said and it always makes me think about how much technology has advanced in just the past decade and also that the United States is not the top on everything that has to do with money or the government.

The videos showed me how much America has technologically advanced over the years and more specifically the last few years. It fascinates me how the internet can be used to connect us all over the world but on another end of the spectrum it isn't so great how we have become almost entirely dependent on our technology. It is a huge impact on education considering that right now I am using the technology for my education by blogging. It is a different world today than it was even just ten years ago and it makes me wonder what the world will be like for the babies born today.

The Videos had an impact on me they opened my eyes to show me how much I take for granted every day. it also shows how our world's technology has progressed from nothing into something we couldn't live without. This can be good and bad, for one thing it shows how we have grown as a nation. But it also shows how engulfed in our mainstream technology. We could be outside having a good time with friends but instead we are online "chatting" them. Maybe technology is not what we put it out to be.

It’s really amazing to see how we have evolved as a human race. Some of the things in the videos were so amazing I didn’t know how they could even be possible. All this technology has helped us in our daily lives so much, but a lot of people don’t realize how much it is hurting us too. Even though technology has helped us I think its bad that we rely on technology for everything. It’s really weird to think how life would be without technology. These videos helped me realize how lucky we are to be so advanced in technology.

The two videos really did suprise me on how lucky we are to have computers and everything else we have that others may not have today or back then. I never realized how much technology we use everyday and how much more advanced it all can become within 1 year. I don't think that the videos will effect me on academics because I use computers and my phone to do my homework almost everyday. However, these videos did change my view on the world and showed me how blessed I am today.

The one that got me thinking the most was Did you know 4.0 because i thought it was quite interesting to read.It definitly got me thinking about what could change in the next few years such as the technology and the population. It also got me thinking about how much the world can change in just a short time Im not sure if the video will help me in my academics because it was more about technology. It did get me thinking though.

I think that the videos made want to try a lot harder in school so that we as a country can beat India's amount of college graduates. It really bothered me that they seemed so much better than us academically. The other way the video impacted me was how much American technology has changed over the years. How youtube has had more videos uploaded in the last 6 years than if all those news shows had been broadcasting for almost 200 years. Overall the video just put me in a new perspective of how the world is changing.

I thought the video was very interesting. It made me think how much technology has progresed over the years and how much we use it without even appreciating it. All this technology will help accomplish tasks easier and quicker. I dont think the video will effect my academics because it does not change how I will learn if i had not watched the video

The video left me with sort of two ideas. First of all, I honestly just don't like how technology is just taking over. Everyone is always on their phone or on their computer (which I am also guilty of) but I just feel like maybe it might be getting to be too much of it all. But on the other hand, it is so amazing how much we learn and advance in such a short amount of time. It makes me wonder what we will be capable of in another 70 years. What cell phones will be like and how much more better can our technology and know how get.

It was interesting seeing how far America had come in just the past few years. It makes me wonder what will happen next that will shake our world even more. This made want to get a good education. I also learned that the Chinese and Indian civilizations might take our jobs in the near future so thats even more motivation to study hard in school

After watching both the Did You Know 2.0, and Did You Know 4.0 videos, my view on technology has drastically changed. Within only 4 years, the amount of people using the internet and the ways that the internet is being used has sky rocketed in both categories. It has made me realize how much money technology businesses are making, while other businesses are just barely surviving. Americans depend so much on technology that in some cases, a family may have many different tv's and computers, but not have enough money to afford a healthy meal. Our society has changed so much in terms of communication and reliability over technology, that no living person should be able to wrap their head around how much data is available to every person. To me, that just proves how many smart people have lived, and gives me an insight into what our future holds for us.

The videos really showed me how our country can evolve and grow so fast and in to something so big. It also made me realize how lucky I am to have things such as the internet, that they didn't have before. But it also made me realize how much we really do take for granted, and how has a society how much we really do depend on these things.

I thought that this video was very neat. I didn't know any of the facts that there were shown. I don't think that the video will affect me toward acedemics other than i maybe should spend a little less time on my phone or Facebook! This video really made me think about how far technology wise the world has become.
