As far as my writing goes this semester, I think that my writing has improved greatly. Over the course of the semester, we have been working on our uniform paragraphs and my final one was so much better than my original that they were hardly even comparable. I have learned how to incorporate advanced vocab through editing and catching the linking verbs which, before this year, I wasn't exactly sure what they were. I would say that my writing has improved greatly.

This year I have learned much about writing. I have learned how to write thesis statements and how to say more with less. Since the beginning of my uniform paragraph, i have added and removed many things which will help me not just in this class but in many others. I have gotten rid of words and added in certain phrases, and make it look more like a high school paper. I will continue to use everything I've learned in every piece of writing.

During this semester, I have learned a bunch of new vocab words which help me enhance all of my writing. The Uniform Para. helped me because we worked on it throughout the semester and this had me fix and add more things to make it better. All of the packets like 6+1 and Grammar helped because I have more knowledge about English.

This semester I have improved so much! From the beginning I had nothing but simple sentences and millions of linking verbs. Now, I have Compound and complex sentences. I have 1 Linking verb. I can now look at my writing and improve my vocabulary, Sentence types, and quotations. I use conventions and focus on creating an image in my head. I focus on feelings and details. I have gotten better at my thesis statements, but I could improve on my conclusions. This semester I've learned a lot! Thank you Mr. Trotter!

When I look back on my original "Uniform Paragraph," I am able to see many changes, and many mistakes that I made writing. Removing linking verbs, using different types of sentences, getting rid of dead wood, and organizing your thoughts so they make more sense to your reader really helped me develop a new paragraph. These writing skills that I have learned, whether it be vocab, grammer, or the skills in the 6+1 Traits packet will help me with writing in the future. Thesis statements will also help me in other classes for essays of any types. Overall, learning these things by putting them in my "Uniform Paragraph" has helped me become a much better writer.

When I first wrote my uniform paragraph, I really did not how to edit it. Doing all the steps for the uniform paragraph really helped me to know what to look for, what to remove, and what I should add. Writing my uniform paragraph for the first time, I thought it was pretty good quality, but getting all the instruction from Mr. Trotter to look at and change I realized how much my paragraph was missing. Out of all the handouts we got regarding writing I felt the most helpful was the 6+1 Traits packet. When writing I found

Writing this semester has taught me how to open up my sentences and paragraphs in new and more eyegrabing ways. I have learnned how to use new sentences and how to have more structure in my papers. My papers now sound more accurate because I use quotes to support my ideas and how i feel on different subjects. I have also learned to make my sentences flow and make more sense by reading them out loud so I can hear the problems.

I have learned so much about writing this semester. One really important thing i learned about only writing about one extremely specific idea, instead of a huge idea. Before, I never even knew about thesis statement. Now, can actually write a great paragraph compared to my previous writing. Reading through the 6+1 traits and other packets have helped me become a better writer

Doing the uniform paragraph this semester really opened up my eyes and showed me how much my writing can improve by just doing little changes to it. I will keep in mind everything that I learned to make my writing better, 6+1 traits, linking verbs, thesis statements, and sentence types, when I write in the future in all of my classes. I learned how far your writing can go by just removing linking verbs or rearranging the sentence. I did think it was a hassle and pointless at first to make all these revisions to one little paragraph. However, now looking back, without making those revisions and learning everything I did about writing, my writing would still be the same as it was before, weak, simple, and boring.

This semester I learned a lot. I learned new techniques to add to my writing and to make it better. I've taken out all of my linking verbs and words that are not needed I used things from the 6 traits packet that helped me make my writing more interesting and better to read. I've also learned a lot from our grammer packets and all of the new sentence types. i have also learned how to write good thesis statements. This semester I've learned a lot from everything.

This uniform paragraph has shown me the different options on how to make my writing better and how to take out all the bad words and replace them with bigger and better words. It has made me realize what you can do to make your paragraphs better and more fun to read.

My writing has definitely improved this semester. Now, I hardly ever use helping verbs, and my introduction or "grabber" sentences have greatly improved. My vocabulary and thesis statements have not improved much though.

This semester i have learned that writing is a lost talent that has been lost and we need to bring it back. I have learned that their is a lot to writing and it is hard to perfect and get every wrong thing out.

So far iv learned about words that should be used and words that should not. I have also found words to replace other words.

I think that my writing has improved since the beginning of the year. I still think that I can improve more, but I do think I have improved. I have added some things to my paper that I believe have helped me become a better writer.

I have learned a lot about writing this semester. I've learned to write small and make my writing more meaningful. I've learned that if you are bored with what you are writing it shows in your writing. My final uniform paragraph was pretty much a whole different paper from my old one. It had a lot more depth and more personality and quality. In the future I can use all the skills I've learned with my grammar and writing style.

I have learned that staying focused is the key to helping you improve your writing. If you know what it is that you are writing about then you can begin to realize what is wrong with what ever it is you are writing about.I believe my writing has improved beyond what i thought i could produce in writing and i believe that in the future i will learn more on how to better improve my writing.

Over this semester I have learned a lot about writing. One of the major things that I have learned and now apply to my writing, I cut out linking verbs. I found that they really dumb down your writing and you should replace them with a lucid translation or a vocabulary word. I think all of this shows very necessary in the long run becuase writing is a skill to many take for granted.
