I completely agree with Sir Ken Robinson's "Schools vs. Creativity". Schools tend to take children's creativity and make them think a certain ways. Schools only practice the basic needs, when they should be practicing creativity. They should practice creativity because with that the world will get new ideas, and different ways to solve problems.

I agree with Sir Ken Robinson's"School vs. Creativity". School limit children s creativity to coloring inside the lines instead of letting them be creative in everything they do. Schools practice what they call necessary things but creativity is key to live a happy life. yet it is not practiced in schools, but it should be.

I agree with Sir Ken Robinson and his idea that schools kill creativity. Schools try to get their students to all graduate with the same degree. There is no variety any more. For example, when Ken told the story about this girl who had trouble sitting still and learning, she was thought to have a learning disability. When the doctor looked at her he suggested that the mother put her in a dance academy, and now she is a multimillionaire and a professional dancer. If it weren’t for the doctor’s suggestions, they would have given the girl medication and put her back in class. All schools want are their students to be educated and to erase diversity, but we need to remember that there are art and dance classes are available to students if they so choose to take them.; however, these classes will not lead to any major careers.

I agree with Sir Ken Robinson's School Vs Creativity. When we are trained with no difference between each other, like robots, we will all know the same things and act the same, if we know the same things, as a country we will not advance as much as other countries do. There is always more than one way to do things, even in math and science, and if we were able to find those methods we weren't taught in school, then applied them to everyday life, we could be more likely to be famous for doing something that changed our everyday life.

Sir Ken Robinson's speech made me question and think more about school, and the effect it has on a child's creativity. I agree with him though, he put into perspective by the stories he told what a lot of people do not realize, creativity in schools is being completely taken away. Some schools students aren't even aloud to do any sort of art project or activity. Do the people that run the school honestly think that is good for the students? Just to sit in the classroom all day every day and just take in information? His point should definitely be shared and thought about.

Sir ken Robinson gave a very good and easy to understand speech. I totally understand the point he is making. If we all get taught the same curriculum, then we all have about the same amount of knowledge. And therefore none of us have more creativity than others.

Sir Ken Robinson's TED talk made me ponder the effect of how schools creativity. Schools make children afraid to be wrong and make them think that their opinion may not be valued. Sir Ken Robinson said what most people don't want to say. Sir Robinson put into perspective what kids are experiencing in an everyday class room, the teachers sit you down and lecture you for an hour. Students need to get up and be active, even if its not all day, kids need to move.

I think that Sir Ken Robinson could be right. I think that it really depends on what school it is. I understand that at many school that may be the case but not all of them. However I think he was right mainly because kids have to worry so much about school work and doing well in school that they don't have very much time to do the stuff that they want to do. They try so hard to please others that they hardly have enough time to do anything to please themselves they don't have enough time to be creative.

I think that Sir Ken Robinson's presentation was incorrect because school gives creates creativity by offering art classes gym classes, and music classes. The one thing in his presentation that i thought was interesting was that girl who had ADHD and the Dr. said that she should be medicated but instead they put her in a dance school where she can move all she wants. If school was killing creativity then how do we have great things like Apple, Microsoft, 3d TV's and other amazing inventions. how would any of this be possible with out creativity. Did the people that made these things uneducated? probably not these people are probably the smartest people in america

Sir Ken Robinson's speech creates a controversial state in my mind. While yes I believe school is necessary; it might not prove to be completely so. yes that girl did not need the conventional type of education it is still a need to support some form of basic public education for basic life skills. But past a certain point people need to have a time, before college, to start to specialize towards the education that will best suit their full potential.

Sir Ken Robinson's speech made me wonder what schools are really trying to do? He had mentioned that schools seemed to teach kids in order to make professors for the future. He really explained things people don't realize. his point should be shared everywhere because he totally made me think about how my schools have effected me in the past, how it is now, and how it could in the future.

I agree with what Sir Ken Robinson's idea. Creativity is a vital part of a student's education and schools should not take it out of their curriculum. I know creative projects help me to understand what I'm learning vs. just doing a basic worksheet or textbook problems. Not having creativity available in academics really is effecting education. This video should be shared throughout schools.

Ken Robinson's speech really made me think how important creativity, and how school kills that. The story about the girl who had to dance and had to move to think was very inspiring and made me think, why do schools want to put the kids on meds just because they have a have a little ADHD. That girl is now a millionaire because her parents didn't put her on medication. Mr. Robinson was right too he said that arts are at the very bottom of of the list of the schools. There should be more arts and music.

I agree with Sir Ken Robinson's points about School VS Creativity. When he said that in schools the arts are more of a secondhand subject or class to the basics like Math, Science, English, and History. He told stories of people who did not realize their ability in the arts and somehow by a certain strike of luck found out they had something special and pursued it. Throughout the world there are people who can sing or dance and they don't even know it, and if schools keep disregarding those ability's and keep trying to teach them things they don't want to know these kids will be forced into a regular type of job with the things they learned from Math, English, Science, or History and there ability will be a thing of the past.

i totally agree with him because now days schools are forcing kids to forget about their dreams and telling them it wont take them any were in life and they need to learn this material to succeed in life.even though there are multi millionares that succeeded in life without an amazing education.

Sir Ken Robinson's speech about how school is destroying creativity is completely (in my opinion) agreeable. They tell you the topics you WILL write about, and if they say "use your imagination" there's restrictions that follow every single time. If you can't sit in a desk for an hour and a half straight and be able to focus without a break obviously there's something wrong with you apparently.School subjects that promote creativity aren't considered major subjects and usually are optional. This speech also made me wonder if enough people got together and reinforced the idea that school takes away creativity and unique ideas of young people if the nation would act upon it ( like changing subject importance in schools, changing what school actually is, ect.)

I agree with this video, "School Vs. Creativity." It proves a good point about how school influences us and changes our ways of thinking. School takes some of our creativity out of us, which i have never thought about before. The description of the girl that danced instead of taking medication was a good example of this. Many schools probably have never thought about what they have done to their students.

I completely agree with what Mr. Robinson said school is killing creativity. I find it quite humorous that the girl that had been asked to take pills became famous because her mom put her in dance school. And even more fun that she became a millionaire. Just because someone didn't say calm down. But even with that a side he is right. What i agreed with the most is that schools just want you to stop talking, sit down, and learn. What it should be is that let you choose they way you want to learn

I totally agree with what Ken Robinson was saying in this video. Once kids go to school and learn what is accepted and what is aloud. If kids could stay artistic throughout their life and do what their heart wanted, then they would go into a career that they wanted. If a student has their way of doing things and the its not the same as the class, sometimes teachers wont let them use their method even if it comes out with the same answer. I am glad that this video was shared with us

I completely agree with Sir Ken Robinson's speech "School vs Creativity." Although it's a matter of opinion, I have found that its true. All school is doing is making us "like a program." School makes us like a computer able to answer questions and state answers. We need to have creativity in all of that. if we are made like a computer, giving answers to questions, then we loose our creative mind to forced math problems and short stories. This mind doesn't allow us to reach our full and true potential. Just like SKR stated in his speech," A girl with ADD couldn't learn because academics were forced on her and she was a dancer and liked to dance to the music. She needed music to learn and yet the teachers only cared about making her human." Creativity is important to our nation and yet we do't realize it.

I agree with Sir Ken Robinson's "Schools vs. Creativity." Schools are putting to much emphasis on basic math, science, english, ect., and not enough focus is being spent towards creativity. From a young age, students are taught to turn their creativity into what the schools would deem as "useful." This is wrong because creativity is as useful as the basic skills, if not more useful. Creativity allows students to create new ideas, rather than only being programmed to do the essentials like a robot. Creativity makes the world a better place and without it the world would not see any new creations.

I agree with Sir Ken Robinson's "School vs. Creativity". Kids often learn that dreams do not come true and that you need to have a practical choice. If everybody did that then we would have no entertainment. Everybody would just do ordinary thing and nobody would dream.
