I do believe that this relates to Anthem by the how complicated it all is. it models the society. Every Single aspect has to work perfectly or the whole thing fails. Much like the government of Anthem. They just hope everything goes wright to keep stuff in order.

This video represents Anthem because a tiny idea can turn into somehting that can effect a lot. The very start with the dominos, represents Equality's small little creative mind, and as time goes on it turns into something bigger and greater! With suppourt and ideas from other people, you can create something great. I believe this is "idea" or similarity between the book and the video will be implied in the future of Anthem, when Equality eventually makes a new society where one can express their own ideas, an be an individual.

This video has creativity like in anthem. Why the video is like anthem is because Equality creates light and not till the end is Equality respected for his creativity. Liberty and Equality aren't allowed to be creative or in love with anyone cause they can not use the word "I" but in the end Liberty uses the word "I" when she says to Equality that she loves him and they go have a kid after that.

The video "This to Shall Pass" represents "Anthem" because Equality's journey to what he wanted was really long just to lead up to one small thing. Also that small thing at the end could lead to something else like Equality says he is going to save anybody who's spirit is still alive within them. Also not just the video but the work behind it, everyone had to be in the right spot at the right time and Equality might not have always been in the right place at the right time and he had to backtrack to fix that. But he wasn't being lackadaisical about it either, if he was in the wrong place he tried his best to get there but it didn't work and he still moved on.

this video is like anthem in that it started with something small and ended up starting a big chain reaction. in Anthem equality started just being disliked by his teachers but ended up starting a whole big deal by finding the electric box.

In the video "This too shall pass" the video ties to Anthem because the character that drives Anthem, Equality, is one person, and one little red truck started the rue Goldberg. Which shows that one person or object can start a chain reaction "I am. I think. I will." (Rand, 94) Which shows how when a person puts there mind on an idea or opinion they will follow through with it.

I really think this would be punishable by death in anthem. In Anthem the society tries to simply get rid of the word ego. Ego is creativity also. These engineers involved in the video had too of used every ounce of creativity they could to create the machine. Also they each had their own section to work on making it so that it would be more efficient and amazing. This goes against all the beliefs of the society in Anthem.

Shall this pass connected to Anthem because it shows how everything needed another for it to work. It also connected because in Anthem the counsel states," what is made by an individual can not be correct", and while this is false, so many people were involved in putting this some 700 objects into a single chain reaction for it to work right. The chain reaction worked but it took a whole group as mentioned should by the counsel men in Anthem.

The music video kind of relates to Anthem in a way because each different movement or transition was different and more complicated than it needed to be, like the opposite of Anthem were everything was so simple and non creative in a way.like the task or purpose of the video was to splatter paint on themselves, but they did it in such a creative way like how in anthem were everything was so nsimple and non independent.

This to Shall Pass by the OK Go relates to Anthem in the way that when Equality first discovered the secret hole, it set of a chain reaction where he continued to do more. After discovering the whole, he finds the light. After that he fixes the light, which leads to him being late to a meeting, so he is thrown into jail. Everything overall leads to him showing his work and getting rejected, almost as if it was meant to happen. Because he was rejected, he was able to find great happiness in being independent, and was able to unlock many secrets of the unmentionable times. And all of this started with him finding the hole.

This can be put towards anthem by showing one thing leads to another, and the result can be good or bad. Equality was the truck in the video and when he pushed the elders "the dominoes" He started a chain reaction of events leading all the way up to an end result which could have been good or bad, the book never tells you what he did when he broke those bonds. I believe that these two things are related because of chain reaction.

This music video completely encourages the idea of creativity and the right timing. and in "Anthem" the idea of the society is to be common, timely ( this they have in common), and pretty much as boring and lowly educated as the most uneducated person in the society! ( there's a quote for that somewhere I know that).

This video represents Anthem because it shows how every action has an equal reaction. And every single one of the objects used in this video was important and had a purpose. If one object failed to move the right way at the right time then the entire process would be messed up and would not work. In Anthem each indivigual is important and is unique even though the government authority failed to realize that.

In the video, the band exhibits how creative human minds can be. In Anthem, Equality is stripped of his creativity and forced to act as everyone else. Equality, I'm sure, would love to live in today's society because of the freedom we have and all of the creative things we are able to do. In Anthem it says, "Dare not choose in your minds the work you would like to do when you leave the Home of the Students." This just shows how limited Equality's choices and creativeness were, and how demanding the society in Anthem was.

This shall pass by okay go has traits that people in anthem do not have like individualism an creativity. One quote from anthem is "we are nothing mankind is all" this shows no one is an individual in this society and there I no creativity.

the title matches the antithesis in such a way that "This Too Shall Pass" could be interpreted to: the times where there is no individuality will eventually end. "And here in this uncharted wilderness , I and they, my chosen friends ,my fellow-builders, shall write the first chapter in the new history of man"

Anthem and "Shall This Pass" relate to each other because during the video there are many different obstacles that resemble Equalities realizations. There are many parts of his journey in the story with different people in different places. I would say that it is the same thing in the Rube Goldberg Machine.

This music video I think relates to Anthem a lot of because of how perfect everything has to be. They have to put everything at the right place at the right time. Especially when they are matching it with the music. They also took it in one try so if they messed it up they would have to set the whole thing back together. like the people in Anthem they are scared to mess up.c

I believe that Anthem relates to the music video because of it's a complicated way to get a simple job done. In Anthem, they set up society where it is much harder to function and live your life, where you could make it so easy, but they choose not to.

"This To Shall Pass" by Okay Go ehibits the antithesis of what is valued in anthem, by them doing things in a different way. They are making such an easy task complicated, just like the society in anthem. Even though they can do something in an easier way, they choose to do it the way they value. In Anthem. Its just like Equality, because he is doing things that no one else does."it was that learning was too easy This is a great sin, to be born with a head which is too quick" (Rand 21) This quote in Anthem shows that Equality does things differently, just like this band.

This video is extremely creative and elaborate which is the opposite of anthem. They created something very elaborate for a small task and in the book "Anthem" this would be frowned upon because they do things short and sweet, they wouldn't want to take the time to make something like that. One example from the book is when Equality showed them his version of light. When he showed them this they said that if it is not made by many it can not be good. I think if anyone did this in the book they would be punished because its a waste and it wouldn't be able to be approved by the council.

This video states many aspects of Anthem. One is that every part has a purpose in the whole presentation. Just like every man in the primitive future is made to do one thing. No more no less. He, Equality, has to work with is brothers to accomplish the task at hand instead of working on his own. This is just like the video. Every part is working together to get the singers painted. If one thing didn't the whole thing would be ruined. This is like Equality breaking off. The society started to break down because one man didn't follow the "path". I think Equality would approve of this because it is a video that allows the artists to express themselves.

One thing leads to another and can create something huge and incredible. In the video, "This Too Shall Pass" it started out with one small truck and ended with a big explosion of paint. It was very creative. In the book "Anthem", after Equality ran away, he discovered the word "I" and figured out that he can be his own creative person. "Here, on this mountain, I and my sons and chosen friends shall build our new land and our fort"(Rand 104).This means that Equality thought of bringing all of his friends to the forest so they can be their own person and grow up with the word "I".
