In my opinion Romeo and Juliet do not mature much throughout the play. Even in the later acts their love still seems immature. All of the actions in act III and act IIII prove this. If their love caused the deaths of people it shouldn't have ever happened in my opinion. Being as young as they are I think that their decisions are far from mature. If they took time to make a wise decision on how to keep their love, they probably would not have had the fate they did in the end of the play.

Romeo matures by trying to make peace with the capulets and getting married but when he tried to make peace mercutio was killed and he learned also to stand up for his friends and to fight and Juliet matured by getting married and learning to trust other people and to stand up for her self and be independant and to move on when things are sad but to not forget them but i don't think that they matured all that much because in the end they kill themselves and they still mostly act like kids throughout the play by letting there emotions take controll of them

The mature so much in thcourse of thebook because if you look at the first scene it is were they are foolish because of what they are wearing of who they onced love and who they will maryy and in scence three they worry about how they will stay together all the way to the end when they are willing to die for eachother. So they grow and go through thier whole life.

Romeo and Juliet both mature a lot throughout the entire play. Romeo matures from being depressed from love not going the way he wants into being a really happy person for the love he feels right there and then. Some examples of his maturity are: "This love has shown to add more grief to my heart" then to Risking death to see Juliet and the next morning to the friar to arrange marriage. Juliet matures in a very different way. She begins from saying marriage is, "an honor I do not dream of." To agreeing to marry Romeo with a full heart.

I think both Romeo and Juliet both matured a little bit in this movie for one reason. Since they loved eachother, they wanted to not have to hide it. They wanted their families to come to peace with each other. I think this was a very mature thing to want because they actually realized that the hatred between the families was pointless.

Romeo and Juliet mature through the play as they realize what they are doing and what the commitment is to what they are doing. They start to understand the consequences and they think it through a little bit and realize what they are doing. In the end however, they do not care and go back to the love they have and kill themselves.

Romeo and Juliet went through a lot over the course of the play. Before they met, the two of them were very different. Romeo used to be ver immature in the way that he acted around his friends. Towards the end of the play he tries to be kind to everyone including Tybalt. Juliet also changes and learns to love and sacrifice. These are reasons why I think Romeo and Juliet have matured.

Romeo matures by trying to make things fair and nice between the Capulets because he wants approval to marry Juliet. Also, they mature by later in the book they are thinking about ways they can stay together and make their marriage and relationship work.

I think that Romeo and Juliet do mature. Romeo does. He settles down. He gives his all to Juliet and she does the same. They are dedicated and they is a sign of maturity.

Romeo and Juliet are more mature during the course of the play because during this short time they face a lot of events. But also with all of the events made things go crazy and they are not always think right. But the result this whole play is that they gowned there family back together so they stopped the families from fighting.

I think Romeo and Juliet matured throughout the play because they knew they're love wasn't just "them" it would affect the capulets and the montagues. They wished and hoped for their families to come together and realized that all of the fighting between them had no point and decided to love instead of hate. They are more mature in that way then most of their families.

I do not think that Romeo and Juliet really mature throughout the play because, they don't learn the lesson that young love and getting married at a young age is a bad idea. They do, although make the large decision to kill themselves over the death of their loved others, and that does take a lot of maturity, but for the majority of the play, they do not mature throughout the course of the play.

In all honesty I don't believe they matured very much. They acted very childish about their relationship the whole time. Saying things they didnt mean. Trying to have the perfect relationship, be secret about it. I believe they should have come out and that maybe would have helped to bring peace between the families.

Over the course of the play I do not believe that they mature too much. In the end when Romeo kills himself he does not stop but for a few minutes to think of it and really digest all that that could affect if he did kill himself. If he wouldve taken some time to think about it she would have waken up by then.

Romeo's intentions for Juliet have become much more pure than his were for Rosaline. "Mishappen chaos of well-seeming forms." (Act 1 Scene 1 184) shows that Romeo valued Rosaline as a beautiful girl. (Explaining why he moved on from her so quickly) But, at Act 5 Scene 1 line 37, Romeo states that he would die for Juliet: "Well, Juliet, I will lie with thee tonight." This shows how their love has become mature on the means that Romeo is willing to end his own life to be with Juliet. Juliet later also takes her own life to be with Romeo as well. Though death is not the answer to a temporary problem, both demonstrate their serious love in this way.

Romeo and Juliet mature during the play because they both realize what true love is. One example of this is that Romeo thinks Juliet is his only love and just is sad about her. When Juliet fakes her death, he is more than sad and kills himself. Juliet matures because at the beginning she agrees to marry Paris but then she decides that she will not because she feels like more of an adult. Romeo and Juliet both mature a lot throughout the book in many different ways.

While reading the play, Romeo and Juliet mature in some ways and don't mature in others. I think that they mature in the sense of being married. That this step in life is something that would mature anyone. But I think that they as kids, don't actually mature. They are still naive and way too unrealistic to be mature. Just by getting married so suddenly shows their immaturity, but after they did I think that they realizes what they were going to have to do to be able to make their marriage work.

They mature because they were willing to die for their love for each other. They show each other their love for each other and they would take it to the point of death. They did not know each other at the beginning of the book, but once they got to know each other, they would start to mature and know what it feels like to love someone. They also express how their relationship could possibly go to a different level. They married each other and they were going to run away together, but death was preventing them from doing that.

Romeo and Juliet both matured by the end of this story because at first Romeo was depressed and thought Rosaline was the only one he could love and at first Juliet didn't want to get married. They also fell in love to quickly at first and started to slow down a little at the end until they killed themselves but I don't think killing themselves was that mature.

Romeo and Juliet are only children and this is basically Juliet's first love. They say they love each other but what other does Juliet have to compare with Romeo. Marrying within a 24 hour period is not mature and usually doesn't work out. They might think they love each other but they really just have the desire to be with each other at all times. They don't truly know each other.

During the course of the play, Romeo and Juliet slightly matured. In the beginning of the play they were not mature at all and Romeo was playing around at parties and having young love. Juliet was the same about love. At the end of the play, they both matured to where they were ready to die which means they have grown up and known what they would die for. They also took their own responsibilities and started being more independent.

Romeo and Juliet both mature it may not have been very noticeable. Romeo loses his interest in Rosaline and learns what love really is. Juliet matures in the story in the sense that she fought her father for what she felt right and defied her parents to be with the man she loved.

I think that both romeo and Juliet mature through the play by getting married by doing this they have to take on a whole new list of responsibility, but at the same time they married really quick and that is not mature at all.

I believe that Romeo and Juliet didn't really mature at all because yes while being romantic and sweet, them killing themselves is a little extreme.

During the play I think that they do not mature throughout the play because their actions and their love got people killed including themselves, and Juliet was lying about her death and caused a lot of grieve in her family for the person she loves even though she is only 13

I think that Romeo and Juliet have been really mature during the course of the play. Granted Juliet is only 14 and she will be a 14 year old girl like everyone else. But they handled it very well and I think that the deions that they made and the actions that they took to pursue love is very mature.
