After viewing the RSC Versions of Romeo and Juliet, are you
thinking about your scene performances differently? If so, how? What

Im thinking that you can change it and make it funny rather than have it so serious. You can add things in and they move a lot rather than just standing there and talking.
After viewing this I have had a few new ideas to add to my performance but not much. I am still going to stick with our original idea but probably change up some of the comedy parts.
I think our lines will be longer then theirs, and we will be a little bit slower in talking then them. The transitions are very fast and the narration is simplified. Everything was fast paced. It was very impressive.
well they had good transition and good attitudes for being in front of a group of people but I don't know what I am going to do because I haven't started my play. But they did pretty good.
I am seeing my performance as being more direct towards the audience and sharing emotions with them. I realized that transitions need to be more smooth and less clunky and narration is key to this project.
Everyone absorbs the content differently and it can be interpreted as funny or serious. Any story can have a change in mood and it made the play interesting and fun to watch, I would rather laugh through the play then fall asleep and I think that's very important in a play.
I have noticed how they deleted most of the story but still got everything important across. So knowing this, I may go through the portion of the play we will be acting and edit it so that we can use less people.
I think that we need to be a lot more creative with transitions, delivery, and body language while doing this scene in order for it to be smoother and more entertaining.
I really liked how they kept it fun while keeping to the play. For us it would be better to downplay that a little bit. We could use the quick character changes. I think narration could also be useful because we are starting in the middle of a scene. Overall I think it is most important to keep it fun.
I believe that ours will be the same in terms of humor, but I believe we will have a creative spin and shorter version. This will make our play better and more interesting.
After viewing this play I realized that we could have transitions where there is a narrator talking in between different parts of our play, and we can make ours humorous while keeping it class appropriate. I also see that we don't have to do violence we can just fake it.
I think that we could make our performances more funny and it could be a lot more entertaining. Props helped make their act a lot more funny so our performance could have more props than we had originally planned on having.

I think that you can take a serious play like Romeo and Juliet and make it humorous but still get to the point. You can take words and change their meaning and have some inside jokes. Maybe try and do some improve because that could make it funnier.
After seeing the scene then we can make some changes on how we're going to perform in front of the audience and also we're going to do it neatly and by not laughing. Also the narration of the scene is scattered and disorganized and we will make it better than their scene.

Yeah i want to change the words and make it funnier. It would be really boring if we just read the book.
