I found it very interesting how more than 4,000 books are published a day when mostly all of the books you have heard of or will never hear of. I also found it interesting how when you're in your third year of college what you learned in your first year may be expired.

This video made me think how scary it is that 350 or so babies were born in India alone by the time We finished watching this and that in three years after I start learning my degree that the info will be out of date. This might mean everything that we are learning right now will be outdated in only a few years. I find quite scary but also motivating that we are discovering so much in such a short amount of time.

What made me think about was how when were out of college our knowledge will pretty much be outdated. Also thinking about how technology is advantage so fast is crazy. What I find the craziest was how we learn more tan a person in the 1800 in a lifetime.

I found it interesting that more than 83 million babies will be born into a data economy this year.

I also found it interesting that 4000 books are published everyday, and most of those we don’t get a chance to read.

The 2016 did you know? video made me think about how consumed in technology we are, and how we as a human race always need more. More updates, more social media, and more news. The video also made me realize about how much data we have and how much more data and information we get everyday. The population throughput different countries was intriguing to me just of how many people there are throughout the world. One idea that was compelling to me was how china and India have more honors students than we have students. Overall this video made an impact on the way I think about our world population and what is going on with it.

After watching “2016 Did You Know?” presentation, I was able to realize how competitive students need to be with their education. As the video explains, “25% of the population in China with the highest IQ’s is greater than the total population of North America.” This fact shows how Americans are having to compete for jobs, college education, and other competitive opportunities. “For students starting a four-year technical or college degree, means that after their first year of study will be outdated by their third year of study.” Technology is changing so quickly that college degrees that seem so recent, become outdated after graduating. It’s kind of crazy that technology is constantly changing and what a great impact it has on everyone's lives.

After watching the “2016 Did You Know?” presentation, it made me think more in depth about my day to day life and how humans take advantage of what we have. The statistics about preparing people for jobs that don’t exist, using technologies that haven’t been invented, and solving problems that aren’t even problems yet, boggle my mind. It just shows how advanced we have become with technology and what we can do with that technology. It makes me realize how fortunate to have the technology we do, to be able to stay safe or get assignments for school online. Another fact that made me think about how consumed in technology we are, is that if Facebook became a country, it would be the world’s largest. Daily life changes for those who are so focused on technology everyday so dramatically because of how fast and how much technology is updated.

This presentation made me think of how fast everything around us is changing and how hard it is to keep up with all of it. Students are competitive with their academics in other countries maybe a little more on average. Well I now have a new respect for people coming up in the technology world because all of this stuff is changing so fast and they need to keep their education up to date when looking for jobs. My education will need to be flexible. If I can learn how to learn quickly, that would help while everything is changing and evolving.

I think that the Did You Know 2016 video had a lot of really interesting information. It’s interesting to take a step back from our technology and think about what’s happening in the world. In 2 years of someone’s technological study, the information they learned will already be outdated. There was also a fact that said around 2050 computers will be able to outthink the human species. If you’ve ever read a dystopian book, you know what could happen off of that. There are many good possibilities and bad possibilities on that subject. It’s also interesting to see how other countries compare to the USA.

The video amazed me. I was fascinated by all the stats about Netflix and Facebook and so on. It made me think about just how much we use the internet and technology. We often take it for granted and we don’t understand how different our lives would be without it. This impacts academics by showing how many jobs we need to study for to get in the future. The video talked about how we’re preparing the jobs that haven’t even been created yet. It showed me I need to keep up the hard work to get one of those jobs one day.

I think the video showed that at the rate china is growing and how much smarter then us they are eventually they will be the worlds super power if we don't keep them in check. I was also surprised by how much money Netflix makes a day.

Watching this video made me think a lot about the bigger picture of the world. I thought it was crazy that after you finish college in a certain profession, most of your learning can be outdated. It was interesting to me to see that the top 25% of the population in China with the highest IQ’s is more than the entire population of North America. This made me think that we really need to step up our game as students.

In the video is said that in college, half of the things you learned will be "out-dated" by your third year. If that happens in college it could as well happen in high school. This affects students because others will be learning new things that you haven't. These things could might be useful for us students one day. Also, the video showed how much time people spent online and on their phones. It shows how the world spends their free time instead of experiencing life.

I thought it was really interesting how far technology has come and how big of a part it is to our daily lives. Also, it’s crazy how fast everything is changing, by the third year of college most things you’ve learned would already be outdated. It was also cool when the video showed the different statistics of different places. For example, it said we have about the same amount of students as they have honor students.

I think it's interesting how so much data is being created that no human can see it in a lifetime. Nobody could see every youtube video there is, the world is expanding and there is no way to slow it down. There are so many people on earth that somewhere in some part of the earth there is someone who looks just like us. It's just such a big world.

this presentation amused me think about how much the world depends on technology now a days. It made me wonder what the world would do if technology was taken away. Also, I think that everyones decisions can be partially based on the internet. It made me realize how even schools are not using hard copy assignments and books as much anymore, and putting them online. Lastly, I think that the internet is used as a cushion for everyone. If someone has a question, they have the internet there to help them. Now, we don’t even have to figure it to for ourselves. We are very fortunate the have the pleasure of the internet, but its also a little sad.

This presentation made me think that technology has taken over our lives and we use it for everything. We use it to communicate and even to make food. This video made me realize how big this world really is. For example in China they have more honor student than we have normal students, I think that's unbelievable.

I thought that the statistics on this video were crazy, and it is strange to think that just two years after I graduate college, what I learned is going to be out of date, and that makes me feel kind of useless in the world. Also, the video made it seem as though technology has taken over everything, for there are more people in Facebook than there are in any other country. Overall, from the video, I learned many new and unique statistics about the world, and I got a lot of information from it.

The 2016 Did You Know? presentation really made me think about life in general, and the way we live in the United States. I mean come on. We allow the creators of Candy Crush Saga to make $850,000 a day for a year?? Overall, it didn't really change my perception on anything, that was just the one thing that stuck out to me.

The 2016 did you know presentation was very interesting to me and gave me a sense of how much we rely on technology today. Even though I knew today generation is very technology savoy I did not realize just how much we use technology. It also seemed crazy to me how fast we are advancing in technology and education which in a way go hand an hand. The most interesting statistic in the video for me was the fact that once I graduate from collage the things learned will be out of date.

This video made me think about how many people there are in the world and how fast technology has evolved and become a part of everyday actions. An amazing fact in the video was when they showed facebook as a country. It's amazing how technology has taken over the world and is being used for positive and negative things at once

this video makes me think about how technology has developed and how they become a part of what people do every day.

I could not believe that there are more advanced students in india and asia than kids in America. This presentation really opened you eyes to some statistics from around the world and add curiosity to your mind to that can be used to be a better students.

It strikes me odd how advanced the kids in other countries are compared to america because they have school longer then us. I personally feel it is good to have a break for a little while and give your brain time to relax but other countries must think otherwise.

I think that is very weird and cool that every 2 years what technology in school will be outdated by the time you leave. I also think it is crazy that candy crush makes 230 million dollars a year and 850,000 dollars everyday. What I thought was crazy was that India and china have more honor students than we even have kids. Lastly it will effect me because then we will be behind in technology and if we do not learn what people are learning under us then it will make us even father behind.
