Off the bat it seems really cheesy and not well made. It makes you chuckle at the low quality and the acting. The rocket they showed looked like the moon rocket which is not capable of going to mars. What the producers thought the future would be like is completely different that how the world was actually like. The timeline seems to be different because the program starts during the year 1976 in the film vs the exploration starting 1999 in the book.

Some of if is aligned with the text and some isn't. Bradbury said they were really tall silver things, but when I saw it in the movie it was a small little thing. We did get to see one of the towns that Bradbury describes. In the book I can remember them thinking that there wont be any life on mars, but there ended up being some. Also, the book said it was 1999 and in the movie it is 1976.

Some of the movie clips are very similar to the words that Bradbury used to describe things. Some characters that are introduced towards the beginning of the movie are introduced later in the book. The visual representations are very similar.

In the movie, it started as an unmanned spaceship landing on Mars, and not seeing any life. After that, it is similar to the book in that it starts off with a rocket taking off, but it doesn’t describe being the people watching them take off. The movie shows a clip of an interview with the astronauts. The movie started about 20 years before the book. The description of the house is similar in Ylla.

They do show a rocket taking off in fire like in the book. The character spender was mentioned 1999 is when the book started but 1976 in when the movie started. The wife and husband were shown when she had the human dream

Ive noticed that they go off of the book pretty well but they do have some things that are off from this film and the in the film that they have a lot more towards how there is no life on mars but in the book there was a lot of life on mars. IN the movie there was a huge time difference with when they launched the mission to mars.

The difference from the video and the text is the video included the talks about the mission on Earth. Also the time of the book mission and time of the video is different, years after 1976. Gives backstory of people who work for NATO. Some things are correct, just like the martian who dreamed about Earth men coming.

The movies characters didn't really line up to what it said they looked like in the book. The time in the movie isn't the same as the time in the book at the beginning. They talked a lot about the music (listening to books) and mist and both things appeared in the movie.

One big difference that I noticed was that the book starts in 1999 not 1976. This is a big difference because it then sets the stage for how long it takes for the first expedition to actually get to mars. A broad example for things that line up is the events and the major concepts. It still begins with the dream and them being doubtful of how real it could actually be.

In The Martian Chronicles Film Excerpt, what I noticed about the text alignment is that it starts off in a different time period than in Bradbury’s text. In addition, the Martians explained in the Martian Chronicles are very different than in the movie. Also, Mars in real life looks different than in the movie. For example, on Mars, the sky has an orange tint, however, in the movie, the sky looked identical to on Earth.

At the beginning of the film it looked as if i had imagined when I read the book. the beginning of the book actually started out on mars, but in the movie, it started out on earth while men were getting ready for lift off. In the book it starts in 1999, and in the movie it started out in the year 1972. The part where it actually got to mars was a little weird, and it didn't really correspond with the book.

The movie starts in 1978, and the book starts off in 1999. The book starts in the cold streets of Ohio, yet in the movie it looks as though the main characters are in a space station. On the other hand, the plot is very similar. Most of the details though, are twisted, and the lines of the book don't really match with the movie. One similarity, is when the movie includes the house with crystal pillars, as described in the book. A significant difference I noticed, is that in the book it states that Mr. K eats golden fruits, while in the movie the narrator says that he is listening to his book.

In the movie, just like in the book, it starts with the rocket ship coming from Earth and going to Mars. Unlike the book, the movie seems to start out with a conference of space men. Unlike the book, the movie starts a 1970's, when in the book it starts out in 1999. Like in the book, the Book has Me K listening to his books on mars. Unlike the book, the martians in the movie looks too much like humans.

In the Martian Chronicles Film Excerpt, I noticed that there are a few differences and similarities between the book and the film. An example of a difference is that in the book the story starts in 1999 and the film starts in around 1976. A similarity between the two is that they use the same names, like York and Mr. K. Also a similarity is that they both start with the rocket taking off. Another similarity between the book and film is the dream and the what happens during it.

The story line of the book to the movie is pretty similar. The time period is a little different though. Bradbury’s original book starts in 1999. The movie was produced in 1980, and the story starts in 1976. This is actually a pretty big difference because a lot can happen in 20 years. The characters in the movie look fairly similar to the ones in the book. The Martians have gold masks and the humans are just like described in the book. They also have the same names that they had in the book. Overall, the movie did a pretty good job of representing the book, considering it was made in 1980 when film and CGI was not very good.

In The Martian Chronicles Film Excerpt, I noticed that it starts quite a bit differently. The year is different and Spender is mentioned within the first few moments, when in the book he was mentioned a lot later in the book. Other captains are mentioned too. The captain mentions that Spender would be of greater service to Earth than Mars, but in the story, Spender went to Mars. A similarity between the book and film would be Mr. K listening to his book.

the tings that change are alot you start with ppeole talking in a confrince and thing s like that and pepole are allways so bad at the job. all the captins were intuduce in the first few minits

In the movie, the time when the story begins is different than the book. Also there is a clear distinction that the sky looked very much like Earths and not as much of the red, orangeish tinted sky in Mars. Even though there are differences it both are similar in the fact that it talks about how she is dreaming and he is listening to his book.

The Martian Chronicles Film Except aligned with the text but was also very different. In the film, the story began in the 1970s, however, the book started in 1999. In addition, the film and movie started in different locations. In the film, the characters began in a space station, whereas in the book, the story began in Ohio. Although the book and film are different, they also share similarities. At the start of the film, the town on Mars looked similar to a town on Earth, as Bradbury explained in the book. The town contained houses, buildings, and a sky like the Earth's. Another similarity in the book and the film, was when Mrs. K was dreaming about the humans, and Mr. K was listening to a book.
