This makes me consider how they use phones to communicate. I think this really showcases how that's how people talk and people are in love and find love on live. They update Romeo and Juliet by using phones because at the time this was written, they didn't have phones. They are selling their product and they are also catching attention because this is a book that everyone knows about.
It shows that the lack of communication in the first Romeo and how their product could potentially change the outcome
They are making a joke about slow phones by saying that if it were faster then it would work better
The commercial was very fast moving and it left out most dialogue in the book and if this was the first time you saw it you would be very confused. But if you do understand Romeo and Juliet it is pretty funny and makes lots of sense.
that they are using phones and that they are using other things and things and that they are trying to hit the fact that it would be easier then normal. and it is poking fun at things and others and the fact that they are trying the normal and what they are trying to do is make fun of communications.

It makes me contemplate how important the information that happened in between all of the important events was. In the short commercial they had very short conversations like "romeo" "Juliet" "yes" "no" and didn't have anything important happen.
The commercial uses phones which are a majorly advanced for this time. The phones add more communication but the messages seem not to get through and everything still ends tragically.
Everyone sends texts nowadays, and their love is really quick. It shows how their love was as quick as text messages. Many people don't communicate personally now, and it shows how often we see technology in our modern day. It makes me wonder how quickly people actually fall in love. If they just think they are in love, or if it's true.
This is very similar to the play because it was the play but it was a very simplifies version. In the video they used the phones for better communication but in the real play that would be unreasonable.
I think its interesting that they decided to used walkie talkies to talk to each other, possible hinting that we only communicate through technology today. I think that it also may be adding that now, we do rely solely on technology, so its a good product that we should buy because, essentially, we need it. It attracted the viewers by making it funny, and it made t more desirable to buy.

The commercial is basically the entire play in 30 seconds. Everyone that dies in the whole entire play that dies in the commercial. This commercial also states that maybe technology wouldn't have helped in this situation.
They had a lot of the important ideas such as Romeo and Juliet falling in love. Then, Romeo kills Tybalt and Romeo is banished. Because of this, Juliet drinks the fake poison, so Romeo drinks real poison. Juliet wakes up and finds him dead so she stabs herself. It makes it funny by adding in them talking over the fun. Also, it goes so fast, so it was able to connect with more people. It was funny because they had the communication, but the same outcome still happened.

If there were phones involved, the story would be able to finish faster and get to the point, for there would not be a problem in communication.

It also shows how the whole story and love was rushed; it was all within a day or two, and many people ended up dying. It was a extremely simple way to tell the story of Romeo and Juliet. I think it makes the audience consider the efficiency of certain ways to communicate.

They showed how fast their phones are because they finished the super long play in only 30 seconds It makes me think about the incredible length of the play.
The commercial updates the play Romeo and Juliet by using modern language. Although, they don’t say very many words in the commercial, they talk completely differently and don’t use medieval talk. They talk in language we understand. They also talk over the phone instead of in person or by letter. They make me contemplate and consider how absorbed our generation has become in our phones. We say important things over the phone, or text, and we don’t talk in person. Technology and life in general has changed a whole bunch because of it.
They have the same things where Romeo meets juliet they say they love each other. But they dont communicate clearly so when juliet fakes being dead romeo kills him self and when juliet wakes up she finds romeo dead so then she kills her self and then the play ends. This is just to show if you dont have good communication it can kill you.
The commercial actually shows all the big events of Romeo and Juliet in a very short amount of time. I think someone watching this could get somewhat of an understanding of what the play is about, but wouldn’t get all the details. It’s kind of ironic that the commercial is for a communication device, but in the Romeo and Juliet play, lack of communication is the reason that Romeo and Juliet end up dying.
The commercial sort of summarizes the summary of romeo and juliet on cell phones and makes the whole plot look stupid. The whole commercial is how each character dies if you think about it.

I believe it is very interesting that a phone company used Romeo and Juliet to sell their product. In Romeo and Juliet the main problem was lack of communication, which was the reason Romeo and Juliet killed themself. However in this commercial they showed the same ending with phone which makes me wonder how effective their phones are.
