I believe that jobs in the future will start to disappear to advanced technology and robots. For example, why do we need a person to make us a coffee at Starbucks when a robot can make it without error. Robots for jobs seems to a very good idea, but a lot more people will be out of jobs so we should probably keep our jobs instead of giving them to robots.
While reading/exploring technology on Popular Science, I learned the benefits of robots and how they are able to help our world today. Robots are being programmed to do things that would be risky or time consuming to a human in our world making them beneficiary to create robots. Things like exploring space and mars is much easier and capable of doing in our world today with the advancement of robots.

Our world has so many new advances and it is crazy to me that we already have robots an high tech things. It is also crazy to me how fast our world is advancing.
It seems to me that our world is advancing and more technology is being put in place. Well, robots are next. While many of these robots are very helpful and have a place in out world there are many who think Robots will take the place of people's jobs and could put many people out of employment. So I think as we get more and more advanced with our technology and robots we must be careful of the impact it could have on real people and real communities.
I think technology is advancing a little to slow, but also very quickly as well. A lot of videos and nes things are telling me the newest technology is out or this new thing will change computer but do I ever see it? No. I've never seen it until it's old. People are saying robots and technology is growing so fast but I barely see any of it. I dunno if it's because the setting I live it or I stop myself from seeing it in the first place but I never see it. Maybe a new car might come out or a new phone but nothing big is coming out. But, to counter, I always hear about Mars missions and missions to build of Mars by 2020 or 2030. That's why I think technology is both advancing very slowly and very quickly at the same time.
I think it is interesting that people are inventing new things. It is bad because it take many people's jobs and it would make them not have a job. It could also be unreliable for example a car with no driver could go bad. I think that the new inventions have a negative effect in or community.
Robots have been advancing and people have been finding new ways to do many jobs. I think many jobs will be replaced by robots because they will be done more efficiently. This means that the world itself is changing greatly due to tis and things will be done very different in the future due to technology.
After reading the first short story in "The Martian Chronicles" and a few articles on "Popular Science" I can see that technology has changed a lot since 1950. When this book was written we did not know a lot about technology at all. The technology now is very advanced and works much better than technology back in the 50's. New people come up with new ideas for technology to advance.
Technology is advancing so fast and it is hard for us to keep up. With so many advancements we can't keep up and we are now developing AI s we should be very careful to make sure robots don't control us.

The technological advancements are all happening so fast. I can't believe that little spider robots could be crawling around inside of us in the future. Also, if martians were to ever come to our earth, would the world actually get super heated because of a rocket? That just seems kind of crazy. Plus, there's going to be robots that read to kids. I mean it seems like robots are going to take over the world. So many jobs will be lost to robots because they will be more perfect and cheaper because you won't have to pay them. I feel like everyone is just going to get lazier as more and more technology gets created because like robots will just do work for us.
It is so crazy almost scary how much technology is changing, The new development of al is scary.there's going to be robots that read to kids which is scary because I am scared that this new generation is not going to learn how to read.

It is crazy how fast the robots are catching up to us. They can do any job almost that we can do from assembling cars to completing math problems. Many people will be replaced by robots and maybe things will be super cheap so everybody will be able to live off of these products.
Technology advances seem to be happening every day now. It's either a new update, new phone or some other new type of tech. It's really crazy to think that soon robots will be walking just like us around the street, and we'll be riding in self driving cars. I think it will take a while for some of the events that are happening in The Martian Chronicles will not happen at least for a couple more years because that’ll be a big advancement.

Some of the articles in Popular science and the Martian Chronicles have shown me how much the world has changed in just a couple of years and how that has changed the people and how our world works. Although, there are some good advancements, continuing to use robots as something to help us in the future could mean we rely on that and eventually technology could overpower the people instead of us controlling the technology.
The article I read was about adapting robots. These robots are thin skins that wrap around an object and control the object. Like if you wrapped it around a ball it would control the ball by its artificial muscles. This is a great feat, it makes me wonder what technology will look like in the near future. These skins were designed for space, to help astronauts that have limited supplies. This connects to The Martian Chronicles because the astronauts that come to Mars can show the martians human technology.
Technology of our current word is at the highest point ever. This will be a trend basically forever until the collapse of our society. The article I read about robots doing stunts now makes me think about technology in general and how it's on the brink of taking over society. We use it for everything from computing numbers to playing games on the internet, it's a necessity in the current way of life. I believe that this all leads to our future, to what we will explore, do, discover, unveal, etc. We have not found out much yet and most likely never will about life and the universe, however, if we do, I'm sure that it will be all on the back of technology.
After reading some of the articles in Popular Science, I realized how fast technology in our world is growing. There are so many robots and new technologies that our world is creating that in just a short while we will have knew understandings of our world and new jobs in the future. While reading the Martian Chronicles I noticed that we often think highly of the future and believe that we will accomplish a lot. With the technology we have today we will accomplish a lot, but it will take time and effort.
This article shows how advance our technology is evolving to the point where robots can be doing many things that humans can. Scientists say that robots could be a huge difference in the future, and as days go by, the technology we create only gets better and better.
This section on the website shows me just how technologically advanced we are. Humans are creating things to do what they used to do. This can be a downfall and a plus. he downfall is that humans will become lazier when they don't have to do simple tasks like driving a car. The plus to the technological world is the safety that comes. Instead, of sending a bomb squad in a building, you can send the robot in to retrieve the bomb. The new world of technology we are entering into will spring forth new inventions and innovators.
I think that for our species specifically, making more technology to do less ourselves and live longer isn't as sad as people think. I think of it this way: a tiger survives using extreme strength, mobility, and weaponized body parts (such as teeth and claws). But does that make a tiger better than us? No, for the exact reason we like to think of ourselves as above all other animals because we have body armor, which trumps a tiger's strength, We have cars, whose speed can vastly exceed that of a tiger's, and we have firearms, which can efficiently kill a tiger from a mile away. If you would agree, then why are you trying to live up to a tiger? why do you think it's a bad thing for humans to continue benefiting their own race? We shouldn't have to stick to what we were before, because what we were before was cavemen, who lived short, miserable, painful, hard lives. To conclude, some, even most, technology makes me uncomfortable, because I prefer the way things are now. But we have to stop thinking like that because just like how tigers become tougher, faster, and stronger with evolution, we become smarter and more technical as we evolve.

I believe that in the future there will be less job opportunities because our technology is becoming more and more advanced. Robots could take over most jobs really soon.
The future is going to be overrun by robots because eventually, so many people are going to be replaced by robots most jobs won't be taken over because human interaction is always going to be required but a lot of things will be taken over such as household chores and a few other things
Eah year we don't know what the future hold and we let our imagination think of what could happen next. Sometimes these crazy ideas actually happen and its crazy to think that. There are so many possibilities for the future, and maybe one day robots will do lots of work for humans.
