The 2019 Did You Know presentation definitely made me think about how much we have advanced in technology in the past hundred years, and it made me consider how focused and ingulfed in technology we are. This impacted how I saw academics because years ago we would not be able to do in school what we do now, and it is crazy how much progress we have made when it comes to technology and knowledge. How I see the world has changed as well, being that in the next hundred years there may be unimaginable technological advances and new developments such as cures for illnesses that we do not have currently. It also made me think about how we will handle a larger population and what effect that could have.

When I watched the 2019 Did You Know presentation I thought about how everything happens so fast now a days like when it said that 38 million texts are sent per minute and 54 billion texts were sent per day, that's absolutely insane. That is so many people looking at their phone instead of spending time outside or something more productive than looking at a screen. Or that 45 babies in the United States were born in the span of three minutes, that is very fast. The whole presentation just brought a lot into perspective. Esspecially that there are so many people that are on this planet and so much going on that we normally think about our little bubble of world and don't really explore much more out of that. The video will change how I look at how much time I'm on my phone and the internet also will make me think more about the world around us and how thankful we should be that we are here.

The “2019 Did You now” presentation opened up my eyes on how technology actually affects the world around us. Before watching the video, I assumed that only a few countries had access to the internet, but after I watched the video I was flabbergasted at the fact that 4.1 billion people use the internet! That’s about the number of people living in the whole of Asia. I also found it surprising that India/Asia combined have more honor students than the U.S. has regular students. This was surprising because I thought that the U.S. would be far superior to China and India when it came to education. Obviously, I was incorrect.

After watching the "2019 Did You Know?" presentation it made me think about how technology controls our lives. We use it to communicate, in school, and much more. We are allowed to send one text in the blink of an eye without really think that years ago to tell someone something long distance that would take months. This affects my academics by opening my eyes to all the hard work I am putting into school for a bunch of jobs that by the time I go to college won't be around anymore. All this technology impacts the world when we are all to sucked into our electronic devices to realize all the problems that are going around us that most of us never notice cause we think about nowadays is what's happening in the world of technology.

This presentation made me stop to think about how much we rely on technology and the internet in our daily lives. We use it at school, at home, to take the bus, and to navigate our way through the world we live in. This affects my education because the modern technology industry is changing so rapidly that a lot of information that I take in will not even be up to date when I step into the workforce. Before I saw this presentation, I didn’t realize the mass number of people that use this technology across the globe. Along with the great number of jobs created and the number that have diminished due to the wide use of this modern necessity.

When I watched 2019 it made me think about how much we as people really rely on technology. It was crazy to me the number of people on this or that app/ website. I wonder if we will ever be independent again? If we can go through life without a phone or computer. I think that it's stupid how often we use technology... I hope we won't always be like this.

The video we watched in class about how much technology we used in 2019 really got me thinking of what the world will be like in just a few years. In just a few short years robots will take over our jobs? That's crazy to think about and scares me that I'm not gonna have a job by the time I get out of school. The numbers of how long every person is on their phone in a day scares me that no body will remember to know what it's like to live without a phone.

After watching the "2019 Did You Know" presentation, I was shocked. 4.1 billion people use the internet, this started to make me wonder if we are beginning to depend on the internet. Not only do we use the internet too often, but we also have robots beginning to replace our jobs. I believe that our country needs to become more independent and use our brains rather than turn straight to the internet. India and China have both recently become have more students taking honor classes than the number of children in our country. In conclusion, I believe that we should cut back on the internet and learn not to rely on the internet but rely on ourselves.

There were many crazy facts but the ones that stood out to me were that 1 in 7 divorces are blamed on facebook and that game creators can make games like fortnite . The reason that 1 in 7 divorces are blamed on facebook really stood out to me is because that people are addicted to social media. Later in the video it states that Facebook has over then 2.2 billion active users. I was blown away by how a simple free game like fortnite can make over $2 billion.

After viewing the “2019 Did You Know” presentation, it gave me a far superior understanding of how technology has affected our world. I believe the most positive changes technology has brought upon us are jobs. Jobs with high paying salaries, such as computer programming and technician jobs wouldn’t be available without technology, along with similar jobs constantly being created. Though A.I. and different technological advances likely may take over 155 jobs, there will be more room for technicians and programmers. In learning environments, technological advances have taken over. Many classrooms in America use Smart Boards, computers, and more technological outlets. These outlets for students and teachers have advanced one’s ability to access almost any information at any time. Students and teachers now have a larger platform for learning, teaching, and expressing. With millions of users on social networking sites, I believe our world has never been more connected with each other. I strongly feel technology has impacted us further positively than negatively, based on easier access to learning, more jobs, and more platforms.

My first thought after watching the "2019 did you know" presentation was how crazy the world has become, I thought it was absolutely crazy that 4.1 billion people use the internet and we are already are preparing for problems that dont exist. I feel like most of the academics we are learning are just a waste because in just three years they will be lost. My veiw of life totally changes i started to wonder if jobs that my parents have will even exist in the future and what i will do for a job.

After watching the "Did you Know" video it really made me think about how much technology impacts our lives. A couple of the major statistics that stood out to me were how 4.1 billion people use the internet and how soon it's going to be before robots can take over or do our jobs. I also thought that it was very interesting that the children being born into our world today will have always been introduced to technology. This really made me think about how fast technology has advanced and will keep advancing through the years. Learning all of this new information really made me think a lot and how I will always consider this while using technology.

After viewing the 2019 did you know video, I truly understood how much the world depends on technology. Schools, businesses, and even entire governments rely on it for storing, posting, and tracking information. Another staggering fact I found interesting was that in 2050 the human population will reach 50 billion. Many others, myself included, believe that overpopulation will cause mass migrations to other habitable planets. This may include terraforming other planets to make them livable. A final idea I took away from this is that education centers are preparing their students for jobs that don’t exist yet. This is mind boggling but important because new problems will arise in society and problems need solutions, especially if they put the future human population at risk.

The video Did You Know 2019 makes a large impact on educational views and my world view. The sheer number of people who use technology now a days is incomprehensible and I am genuinely shocked how many people have access to the internet or technology. I am glad however, that technology is available to so many people because that shows improvement in our world, but I wish that, instead of technology being available, I would rather have basic human needs available to over half the world's population.

After watching the video Did you know 2019 made me realize a lot of things, I realized how big this world is and how academically prosperous counties like China and India are compared to the United States. I realized how many people are in the world and how many people are born a day, which is a crazy amount. I realized that there are more smart Children in China and India, then there are children in the United States. This video put my life in perspective and made me realize everything that's going on in the world right now.

The video Did you know 2019 listed many facts that most people never look up or hear about which is why I think people find it so interesting. I found it interesting how each culture has different learning standards and that America's are set lower than others. I also believe that it could possibly raise fear of overpopulation because of the info given on how many babies are born. It also shows how the internet has impacted our generation. In all I think these videos are a great way to share cool facts about what is happening and could eventually happen in our world.

I really found myself thinking back to my Science Fiction class, and how the future of technology could turn out.

After watching the video, it occurred to me how many people are in the world and how many there might be in the future. I also realized how much technology we use and depend on it for our everyday lives. I thought it was strange that robots and computers will take away jobs but also create new ones.

After seeing the presentation, it really made me think about how the United States compares to the rest of the world and how the world is so much bigger than our continent. We think we're so smart and advanced but other countries are just like us and are even passing us.

The 2019 Did You Know presentation makes me realize how much technology impacts everyone’s lives. Our generation has grown up not knowing anything other than having technology at our disposal and always relying on it to help us solve our problems. However, since the older generations grew up without any (or very little) technology it can become very confusing for them to understand our use of automated systems. Technology has impacted our lives in many positive ways and given us many advancements, there are also many drawbacks of relying on it for all of our needs. My academics have definitely been impacted in both negative and positive ways. Without the use of our computers and phones has made learning a lot easier and less stressful because with a laptop everything is stored and compressed and you can take it everywhere, while with binders and notebooks your backpack can quickly become heavy and you can potentially lose something. However, using our laptops so much can have negative impacts on our eyes, brain, and sleep habits.

I was watching it thinking "wow we'd really fail without technology" we've become so used to technology being everywhere it's kinda crazy.
