One recurring theme I noticed throughout the video is that the creator of the clip would use irony to express his feelings on our society's use of social media. For example, he says something along the lines of "despite using touch screens to use our phones, we are more out of touch than ever."

The poem talks a lot about the bad parts of social media and being on our phone so much. I think that the tone of the poem shows what is happening to our generation because of cell phones. I think the theme real meaning is how our generation is getting sucked into cell phone and social media but not really talking about the solution. He uses lots of rhymes and things that make sense and go together throughout the rhymes.

The poem used rhyming and alliteration to back his point in really showing his point. I thought he used the music in the background to also add to the idea of what he was trying to tell. I liked the poems message in how our society is so absorbed into our phones and he used his talent in a good way to express this problem.

I love this video and I understand the point he is trying to get across. Although I believe our cell phones can be useful it is getting out of hand for the amount of time we are using on our cell phone.

He is talking about how tech today is ruining humanity, He was talking about how our lives are based around likes and followers. How we need to get better as a society of talking face to face and not always going on our screens. Humanity needs to live in the moment and enjoy life instead of taking selfies, texting our friends about it, or going on social media. We just need to live.

He is truly getting his message across. He's trying to tell us that we need more face-to-face and us and we. I completely agree with what he's trying to say. Like any kid my age how it feels to get their phone taken away.

I believe the tone really contributes to the overall message because it is very captivating. I believe the message can send a message to all audiences and that it doesn't just apply to people using technology. The theme is extremely important because many in this day and age don't understand the importance of relationships in real life.

I do think what he is saying makes sense but I think that fixing this problem would be so much harder because people have gotten so used to having all the luxuries of a cell phone that it would be very hard for them let go.

The tone is very desperate, as the speaker begs and pleads for the viewer to understand the struggle that is technology.

The tone and theme of this poem is sad and wishful of a world without an addition of technology. Although the message in this poem is important, I feel as if he overstated how much technology can disconnect us, and I feel as if it was aimed at younger generations, but really, it should be aimed to the older generations who brought up the generation that is forced to turn to the internet for a sense of safety and community

Separation from communication with the most powerful communication device on the planet, while recording this and putting it like another video we watch. This video was strange.

I get his message about how we spend too much times on our phones and how we have become antisocial. But like this is how we live now and there is really nothing we can do about it. We now have technology and we use it so like isn't that what we should do if it's right at our fingertips. And people always have an opinion on this but maybe people spend too much on their phone but that's just kinda how we live now.

I think the poems message is very true as it talks about how technology has only pulled people apart and now instead of going over to your friends house to talk to them, you can just call them.

This poem addresses how technology can put people in a box instead of bringing people closer together. The change of these problems has to be intentional. This poem also addresses how the claims of technology are not always what they seem to be. The form of this poem is ironic because it is viewed through technology. Additionally, it is also ironic that he is shown alone in isolation without others in the video.

It was a good video and I think his point makes sense. I think that not many people usually talk about stuff that is uncommon or against the popular trend so that is pretty cool.

I don't agree with the message of the poem, but It's written well. He has a strong opinion about phones and the internet when he's posting a video about it on the internet, which is very ironic. I find that what he's talking about all depends on the person with the phone, not necessarily every person with a phone ever. I think overclassifying the phone epidemic is unjust and purely depends on what the said person uses their phone for. Some people only use their phones for work, so are you saying they need to completely correct their lives because of it? Like I said before, this poem is obviously written well, but I don't agree with the message.

I think this poem is fascinating and really made me think about society and social norms. I believe that the way he rhymed a lot of things made the poem stick more then if it was just him talking. the theme of this poem was social media and the problems it creates in this world.

I agree with this video. My family has actually gone further into separation than I ever thought could happen. So, I think it's important that we make real connections and make real interactions with each other and maybe make some friends, or fix some family bonds.

The message in the poem is confusing. While he is telling us that we should take a moment to step away from our screens he is sharing his poem through the internet. Besides that, I believe that he trying to tell us that we are worth more than our followers. He is very passionate about this and is trying to make a difference in the world.

The poem's message is that technology isn't actually connecting us, but rather tearing us apart. I don't really agree with the poet, but the way he connects his words makes the poem much better. His tone conveys a hopeful message while also being a little disappointed in what humanity is doing. The author uses a number of poetic devices, such as assonance and alliteration.

He's angry about how people are living through a screen and not with there eyes

The message in the video is very interesting. I think that he decided to make this video to reach many people and talk about something he is very passionate about and how we should care about the experiences more than what is on our phones. He also talks about how we are constantly focused on documenting everything and reaching out to people through our screens rather than in person.
