An odyssey is a long trip filled with hardships. Odyeios is a bold man, who fought in a war and wishes to return to his wife. When trying to get food, they are trapped in a cyclops's cave. They escape, but face hardships at sea. The gods do not suffer, which is not necessarily a good thing. Immortality is not always good. Life with all of its suffering is better than anything else. Life is dull without adventure.

What I understand about the Odyssey is that it was made in a time before Christ and was made in a time that has no modern technology. It took place during the Trojan War. He fought at Troy and was eager to return his wife to Penelope. The Odyssey is about the return to his home and his wife. During the trip, he overcomes obstacles and changes as a person. Throughout the book, there are gods that play along in the story represent the humans and the Greek world. Odysseus learns life with all its suffering is better than anything else on his journey and that is what makes the story special.

From my understanding, it was about a story where the man named Odysseus. He is stuck at sea where he travels thousands of miles. He makes many stops, and he loses all of his men. In Greek, ego means I, which has obvious connections with the anthem. I think that it is also about learning about themselves through crisis.

The odyssey is about Odysseus’ return trip to his wife. The author praises people who do not crack under pressure and who stay strong. Odysseus’ trip was supposed to take 2 weeks but instead it took ten years. Odysseus went to go feed the cyclops but things went wrong, Odysseus had to poke him in the eye with a large stick and he triumphed. Odysseus is all about himself and ego. Along his trip he lost all of his ships and his men. Odysseus is said to be grand and noble because he suffered and stuck through it. All of the places that Odysseus goes he is told to forget about home and not go home, they all want him to die and give up.

There are many different gods who represented different emotions and aspects of life and they lived it to lead her people. They are not mortal. Odysseus is a disciple of Athena and is on a trip to get back to Athena. The Odyssey is about a return trip. Odysseus is the man who lead the people who stabbed the cyclopes who took the lives of some of his men. There is many different challenges that Odysseus faces. There is a god that is trying to get him to forget about getting home, and forget about living, but Odysseus fights back and goes through each challenge still moving forward.

From my understanding, Odyssey is about a mythical Greek warrior named Odysseus and his journey to go home. An odyssey is thought of as a long trip full of adventures and hardships. Odysseus was a different kind of warrior. He was human. Odysseus journey home from Troy took longer than expected. It took 10 years rather than the expected 2 months. Calypso offered immortality but he rejected it. He needed to make the choice of who is the lesser evil.

People think that an odyssey is when you make a long trip. It's when there are many unexpected turns and during a journey. The odyssey is seen as a return trip. The original odyssey was supposed to take two weeks but took ten years. Posiden gets his revenge for blinding the cyclops. The gods like Athena don't get old but the humans do. On Odysseus' trips he is often told to forget home.

That it took 10 years of Odysseus to get back to his home, and he was sent on many missions to protect his men. And fought in the trogon war. All of the gods where apart of this story and showed the early beliefs of early people before Christ. The story shows the struggles life. Ego is translated to I in English. All stories have a purpose, and have important meaning. Everyone has a choice to make in life and choices are hard to make.

Odyssey is considered a long trip trying to go somewhere, like the Greek gods trip to home, Odysseus. The book the Odyssey is about a trip home with many challenges and roadblocks. He stopped at 12 places because Poseidon didn't want him to get home because he poked his son's eye out. He denied immortality because he wanted to live life with his family. The gods wanted him to forget his life and his family and accept immortality. He was considered a hero of his time. This seems like it will be a very interesting set of books.

The Odyssey is a story of a man getting lost at sea and finding his way home after 10 years. Odysseus was a warrior that was sent to war. Odysseus first gets lost in a cave of a giant who curses him. Odysseus meets many challenges along his way. Odysseus feels that immortality isn't as valuable as seeing his family again. Odysseus has to pass by either a whirlpool that will destroy his ship or a monster that will eat six of his men. Men have taken refuge in his house and asked for his wife's hand in marriage.

While watching the video, I learned that it was around 1200 B.C. and Poseidon took revenge against Odysseus for Polyphemus. I reviewed that a rocket was named after it, it is a story of Odysseus leaving the Trojan War, Homer was the author, was also called Ulysses, wanted to return to his wife Penelope, it took a very long time, around 10 years, he escaped the Cyclops Polyphemus by saying he was “No Man” and poked the Cyclops in the eye, gods reflected and shaped the world, he visits Circy and turns the men into pigs, he visits Calypso and is offered immortality, the crew doesn’t survive, they go past sirens, Scylla, and the Whirlpool,, and Penelope has suitors but postpones them while Odysseus won her suitor contest. It is cool that Odysseus is a metaphor of general challenges of life, like there are choices and life isn’t without its struggles and you need to listen to your parents.
